The launch of this new Web site was made possible through the generous funding of Provident Bank, Gannett Foundation and the Thomas & Agnes Carvel Foundation. PARC, a nonprofit agency at the forefront in providing advocacy and programming for children and adults with developmental disabilities in Putnam, northern Westchester and southern Dutchess Counties, New York, spearheaded the effort to launch the much-needed site. Up to this point, there was no central resource in the region for individuals with Autism and their loved ones to obtain up-to-date information about Autism. We hope you find this site useful as you search for answers regarding diagnosis, treatment and interventions, available resources (e.g. services, support groups, educational resources, government resources, community resources), upcoming events, and more. We thank Provident Bank, Gannett Foundation and the Thomas & Agnes Carvel Foundation for recognizing the community need for such a site and their initial funding that made the launch possible.

We also welcome your feedback.  Please send your comments, suggestions and information to post to Rand Otten at Rand_Otten@putnamarc.org.
